Board Games, Card Games, and more!! (K-2nd)

Led by: Brooke Campbell (5th Grade Teacher)

The kids will be introduced to all kinds of games-both old and new, board games, and card games. We will play games such as Clue, Sorry, Blokus, Guess Who, Scrabble, and more. We will also learn games such as Rummikub, Rummy, Dominoes and Skip-Bo.

Friends, roadrunners, mouseketeers…lend me your Mickey ears! 

Disney club will be an engaging and interactive club featuring classic and new Disney movies. Each week we will watch part of a Disney film and then play a game, make a craft, or another fun Disney-themed activity. Some of these activities include playing Disney character bingo, going on a scavenger hunt, making Moana flower leis, and designing a Cinderella shoe! We hope to see some happy Disney fans soon!

 

 

LEGO Club

Students will be provided the time to build both independently and cooperatively in the 12 theme-based sessions. Building challenges and guided activities are designed to encourage creativity, problem-solving, innovation, and teamwork. Materials will be provided.

 

 

Minecraft Madness

The ultimate destination for young adventurers who love to explore, create, and learn in the blocky world of Minecraft. Students will experience a world of learning and creativity where they get to have fun developing essential life skills from tasks that test their creativity, teamwork skills, problem solving, and an ability to nurture a passion for play.

This after-school program is designed to provide additional instruction from regular P.E. class and reinforce the fundamentals of games in a fun and active learning experience. Does your child love all the activities we do in P.E., like Pirates of the Rocky Sea, Gagaball, Clean Up Your Room, 4 Square, Basketball, Kickball, Wiffleball, Flag Football, Tag Games? Then this is the club your child will LOVE! We will incorporate throwing, catching, teamwork, sportsmanship, and much more!
